our process
STep 1: source
We search for our project starters at a variety of places. We find them at local estate sales, antique markets, flea markets, thrift stores, and even on the side of the road. We look for pieces that have lost their purpose and inspire us to give them a new, modern function that will last a lifetime.
step 2: plan
It all begins with an idea. After we have found our piece, we brainstorm how we can reinvent its use. Over the past few years, we have began to specialize in making lighting and home bar pieces. We sketch out our ideas, and improve on them through the design and build process.
Step 3: Build
All builds begin with an assessment of products and lumber scraps we already have that can contribute to the final design. When the purchase of new materials is necessary, we use top quality and sustainable products like hard wood lumber, LED lights, and hardware.
STEP 4: sell
Heres where you come in! This is your opportunity to make a difference with your shopping dollar.
As a new business, we have been looking for our niche to sell. We have gone to antique sales, and pop-ups with local businesses. In the future we plan to offer online shopping though our website.
The Process of Our Suitcase Shelves
There is no shortage of vintage suitcases. We have found them at Share-house in AA, Facebook Marketplace, on the side of the road, flea markets, garage sales, and even from family and friends.

STep 2: plan
A fan favorite is our wall-mounted suitcase shelves! We are always trying to create innovative designs. We have expanded our suitcase product line to include: unique alternate shelf designs, and tables.
step 3: build
The process begins with carefully cutting the cases in half, and ensuring the top surface is level for display. We then add internal structure to give it rigidity and strength. In order to make the shelf easy to install we add a French cleat. The final step is to clean and seal the suitcase for longevity.
The suitcase shelves were a big hit at the Davisburg antique festival, which was our first sale. We found that people appreciated the vintage look that our suitcase shelves create.
